PROJECT OVERVIEW / ACTIVE
Blockchain data operations
Full and archive node operations, network changes, and Firehose and Substreams services in The Graph ecosystem.
The challenge
Applications need usable blockchain data while the underlying networks continue to change. Operating the service means dealing with node behavior, historical data, client upgrades, forks, and the incidents that appear along the way.
My approach
My work includes full and archive nodes and blockchain data services built around RPC, Firehose, and Substreams. At Pinax, I operate multi-network infrastructure and work with both execution and consensus clients.
The operational workflow extends beyond deployment. Network upgrades and forks require preparation, coordination, and a response when the observed behavior differs from expectations. I also work on Kubernetes migration and FluxCD GitOps for the infrastructure supporting these services.
My contribution
I bring together node operations, incident response, and coordination with the communities and teams maintaining the networks. My public service-log monitor and Chains API projects reflect related interests in recovery automation, endpoint health, and making infrastructure information easier to use.
Current scope
This is part of my ongoing site reliability work. Node operations, network changes, and the delivery of usable data remain connected engineering responsibilities.
